On May 20, Wang Hua, Deputy Director of Dingzhou High-Tech Development Zone, and Zhang Wei, Advisor to the Dingzhou Municipal Government, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ministry of Finance Research Institute, and seasoned IPO mentoring expert, visited Hebei Remei Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. for a research and inspection tour.

1. Driving Innovation with Technology: Specializing in RHDPE Plastic Pellet Production

Hebei Remei Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. is located at No. 1 Jingshi 3rd Road, Northern Circular Economy Industrial Park, Dingzhou City, Hebei Province. Established on August 28, 2020, the company is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production of food-grade recycled high-density polyethylene (RHDPE) plastic pellets.

With the corporate mission of "Creating a Better Life Through Recycling" and the values of "Focus, Pragmatism, Diligence, Efficiency, and Innovation," Remei has always prioritized investment in scientific research and innovation.

Deputy Director Wang Hua and Advisor Zhang Wei first visited Remei’s Polymer Materials Research Laboratory. The lab is equipped with internationally advanced inspection and testing instruments and has assembled a R&D team consisting of over a dozen top-tier polymer technicians. The company has also established collaborations with several renowned domestic universities.

General Manager Li Junjiang explained that, in response to the two major challenges hindering the high-quality development and high-value utilization of recycled plastics, Remei has made continuous investments in R&D and successfully increased the content of recycled high-density polyethylene plastic pellets in blow-molded products to over 40%. The product quality meets food-grade standards and can be widely used in film blowing, blow molding, pipe extrusion, wire drawing, and other fields.

Currently, Remei and its RHDPE plastic pellets have obtained certifications such as the ISO Triple Management System, ISO50001 Energy Management System, and GRS Global Recycling Standard, among others. The company also holds multiple independent patents, positioning it as a leader in the domestic RHDPE plastic pellet production sector.

1. Building a Recycled Plastics Ecosystem to Support the "Carbon Peak" and "Carbon Neutrality" Goals

Deputy Director Wang Hua and Advisor Zhang Wei also showed great interest in the construction and operation of Remei’s digital smart factory.

Li Junjiang introduced that Remei has invested 120 million yuan to build a fully operational digital smart factory. The factory covers a total area of 40,200 square meters and is equipped with 15 internationally advanced production lines for crushing, cleaning, and pelletizing. It can produce 100,000 tons of RHDPE plastic pellets annually, with an annual output value of 575 million yuan.

Remei’s innovative practices have not only established a comprehensive intelligent management system for industrial enterprises but also provide full-scenario smart solutions for the recycling industry. Moving forward, Remei will support the development of more small and medium-sized enterprises and promote deeper and broader digital transformation.

Additionally, Remei actively explores new models for the development of the recycled plastics industry, integrating upstream and downstream sectors to establish a complete industrial chain from plastic waste collection to reuse.

At present, Remei’s Dingzhou plant processes 300 tons of plastic waste daily, making it the largest recycled plastics enterprise in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in terms of daily processing capacity. The plant covers the recycled small and medium-sized hollow container market in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area, significantly improving the recycling efficiency of HDPE plastic products. By building a well-established recycled plastics ecosystem that serves a population of 100 million, Remei has made outstanding contributions to the green, circular, and sustainable development of the recycled plastics industry, taking concrete actions to support the national "Carbon Peak" and "Carbon Neutrality" goals.
